Wedding Day and Bridal Party Photos

Congratulations and thank you for considering the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum as the location for your Wedding Day photos! The Museum is located on the historic Eagle’s Nest Estate. All the buildings, the cobblestone roads, the grounds, the gardens, and the courtyard are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the New York State Register of Historic Places. As such, all visitors must be respectful of the property, and extra precautions are required to be taken by all users of the property. Wedding photos are scheduled for 2 hours and based on availability. Please inquire as early as possible.

All photos are to be taken outdoors on the 43-acre estate. You will have access to:

The Courtyard

The Arcade

The Sundial Garden

The Quatrefoil Garden

The T Pool

The Wishing Well Garden

The Rose Garden

The Corinthian Columns

* Please note that depending on the day and time of your photos, certain areas of the property may not be accessible or will be occupied/shared with other patrons.

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, your party can use the Arcade, the Memorial Wing, the Nursery wing staircase, and the Moroccan Court.

Fees

$700 for up to 24 guests
Additional $20 per guest up to 40 guests’ total

Payment

Payment is due in full to reserve; we accept credit cards, debit cards and personal checks. Upon receipt of payment, you will be emailed a receipt and issued a photo permit. Please present the permit to security upon arrival.

Parking

Depending upon the size of the vehicle, security will direct you to either park in the lot and disembark or drive down the cobblestone road veering left and unload at Boathouse Road. You then enter the courtyard through the Memorial wing entrance or walk up the stairs and through the tunnel under the bell tower.

Alcohol consumption on property is strictly prohibited.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your reservation, for any reason, you must do so at least 60 days prior to your scheduled reservation or you will forfeit your deposit.
