The star projector that sits in the middle of our planetarium theater was manufactured by the Konica Minolta company and has been affectionately named “Konnie” by the staff console operators. Konnie is the highlight of all of our live presentations and the true star of the show!
While the museum was closed to the public in 2020, we liked to think that Konnie missed everyone who came to visit her. That sparked the idea for a comic strip to help bring our favorite star projector to life and into your homes.
Everyone, meet Konnie! 😊
Due to the expected extreme heat; the last guided tour will be at 12pm. Galleries, Hall of Fishes, and Planetarium will remain open as scheduled. Thank you.
