The Museum’s annual Tree Lighting will be held on Saturday, November 25, at 6:30 pm at the columns near the entrance to the estate.

Admission to the Tree Lighting is free, but registration is required.

The event includes complimentary sweet treats, hot cocoa, mulled cider, a visit from Santa, and other surprises.

Long Island Cares is holding its annual Holiday Food Drive – through December 3 – and will have collection bins for non-perishable foods near the entrance columns for the Tree Lighting and in the Reichert Planetarium lobby.

In addition, the Vanderbilt is collaborating with BAE Systems, which funds some Vanderbilt Museum programs, on its annual Holiday Toy Drive for the Family Service League. Visitors may donate new, unwrapped toys in a collection bin in the Reichert Planetarium lobby through December 10.
