Everyone has heard of honeybees, but what about our native bees? NYS boasts over 300 species of native bees, the unsung heroes of the natural world. Join CEED educator PJ Jones, and explore the world of bees on Long Island.
After a short presentation about these bees, we will learn how to support our native pollinators. This program finishes with the building of a bee hotel.
Please bring work gloves and a cordless drill if you have one, otherwise drills will be available to share.
