Within a single lifetime, we’ve progressed from the first space rocket launch, to using space technologies in our everyday lives. Now, we are ready to start a new chapter in the history of human endeavor: to take our first steps towards a permanent, off-world presence.
Kari Byron from Crash Test World and MythBusters launches us on a journey beyond the Earth towards a sustainable future in space. NASA’s 21st century Artemis program, named after the ancient Greek moon goddess and twin of Apollo, is the next step in our mission to explore the universe and land the first woman and person of color on the surface of the Moon.
This film features interviews with astronauts and space scientists, footage of the new SLS rockets being built, and detailed simulations of the equipment astronauts will need to thrive on the Moon in the future.
We are the Artemis generation!
