Join Alex Torres and His Latin Orchestra on Friday, August 7, as they celebrate 19 incredible years of summer nights, salsa rhythms, and unforgettable performances at the Vanderbilt Museum.

From 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm, the dance floor will come alive with the energy and music of these renowned musicians and recording artists. Gates open at 6:00 pm, so pack your favorite picnic, gather your friends, and get ready for a magical night under the stars filled with music, laughter, and dancing.

We’re also excited to partner with one of our preferred caterers, Platinum Party, to bring an extra Latin flair to the evening with mojitos available for purchase and complimentary light bites to enjoy throughout the night.

Reserved Tables:
Tables of 10 are available for $850 per table. Table reservations and seating are first-come, first-served.All other seating is available upon arrival on a first-come, first-served basis.

A perennial favorite, the orchestra performs annually to sold-out audiences at the Vanderbilt, playing its original blend of Afro-Caribbean rhythms – including salsa, merengue, cha-cha, bomba, plena, and Latin jazz. This critically acclaimed 11-piece ensemble, which tours throughout North and South America, has performed in hundreds of festivals and leading performing arts centers throughout the world.

The orchestra, which has released 12 critically acclaimed CDs, has shared the stage and billings with such major acts as Tito Puente, Eddie Palmieri, Andy Montañez, Los Hermanos Moreno, Arturo Sandoval, Ray Barretto, Jane Burnette & The Spirits of Havana, King Changó, Arrested Development, Branford Marsalis, and the Count Basie and Woody Herman orchestras.
