Everyone has heard of honeybees, but what about our native bees? New York State boasts more than 300 species of native bees, the unsung heroes of the natural world.
With a CEED educator, we will explore the small world of bees on Long Island. After a short presentation, we will learn how to support native pollinators and build a bee hotel.
Please bring work gloves and a cordless drill if you have one. There will be a limited supply of drills available to share.
