The third annual Woodstock Revival concert – 30 artists painting to live music by Woodstock tribute bands – is a benefit for museum education programs. Concert-goers bring beach chairs, blankets and picnic lunches. Presented by producer-musician Rich Rivkin.
The outdoor, rain-or-shine concert will be held on Sunday, June 7, 12:00-6:00, on the Great Lawn of the Vanderbilt Mansion, overlooking Northport Bay and the Long Island Sound. On the playbill: Wonderous Stories, Milagro, Half Step and Jellyband, recreating the music of The Who, Santana, Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Credence Clearwater Revival, The Band, Janis Joplin and others.
Food will be available for purchase. Parking is free. Tickets: adults $25 online, $35 at door. Children ages 15 and under $10, and children 5 and under are free. The number of tickets is limited. Online ticket sales end Saturday night.
