Vanderbilt Offers First Responders a Free Day at the Museum

Northwell Health to Sponsor Event – Sunday, September 9

The Vanderbilt Museum will thank First Responders and their families by offering them free admission, guided Mansion tours and Planetarium shows on Sunday, September 9, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. The event is sponsored by Northwell Health.

“We salute the brave men and women who make sacrifices and face danger every day to respond to emergencies and keep us safe,” said Lance Reinheimer, executive director of the Vanderbilt.

“We’re offering free admission to police, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency medical service technicians, and their families.

“As they provide essential services, they risk physical injury and exposure to toxic substances. It’s hard on their spouses, families and children. A fun day at the Vanderbilt is one way to thank them.”

Guests will be asked for ID cards or proof of affiliation.
