The final performance of The Tempest in the Carriage House Players’ 31st annual Summer Shakespeare Festival at the Vanderbilt Museum will be given tonight, Friday, August 26, at 8:00 pm. Julius Caesar will open Sunday, August 4, at 7:00 pm.
A political thriller, Julius Caesar tells the story of the conspiracy against Caesar, and his assassination and the defeat of his conspirators.
All performances take place outdoors the Vanderbilt Mansion Courtyard stage, where the Spanish-Mediterranean architecture adds a touch of timeless charm and magic.
On Wednesday, August 14, access to the Mansion gardens will be closed to the public due to a private reception from 5-10 pm.
