During the February 17-21 winter school break, children in grades Pre-K through 3 can have creative fun – and learn a lot – in workshops at the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum.

Children discover creatures on land and in the deepest seas when educators lead them on tours. Explorations include various Vanderbilt animal dioramas and collections galleries with treasures William K. Vanderbilt II found during his ocean-going expeditions.

All workshops run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Learning Center, located on the Museum grounds at 180 Little Neck Road, Centerport, N.Y. Fee: $20, and $18 for members.

Advanced registration is required.  To register, or get more details, please call the Vanderbilt Education Department at 631-843-5539.
