What:

The first of a two part series, this lecture will talk about the search for planets outside of our solar system. Astronomy educators Charlie Eder and Matt Garber will talk about some of the techniques astronomers use to find these exoplanets, missions to help with the discovery process, discuss strange worlds found already, and planets that are similar to the place we call home today!
