The History of Rock ‘n’ Roll

The Long Island band History of Rock ‘n’ Roll will perform songs from seven decades of rock music on Sunday, October 21, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Vanderbilt Museum’s Charles and Helen Reichert Planetarium.

Tickets: $20 online, $25 at the door, and $15 for ages 15 and under.

The band takes the audience on a multi-media musical journey from the inception of Rock ‘n’ Roll in the 1950s to today. Experience the music of the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and more. From Elvis Presley and The Beatles to the sounds of Disco and Billy Joel, the History of Rock n Roll combines music, costumes, and video in an unforgettable evening.

The band’s John Pinna calls the show “One part musical, one part informative, 100 percent fun!”
