March
Doubt by John Patrick Shanley

March 23, 29, and 30 at 8:00 p.m., March 24 at 3:00 and 7:00 p.m., and March 31 at 3:00 p.m.

In this brilliant and powerful drama, Sister Aloysius, a Bronx school principal, takes matters into her own hands when she suspects the young Father Flynn of improper relations with one of the male students.

From the review in Variety: “All the elements come invigoratingly together like clockwork in John Patrick Shanley’s provocative new play, Doubt, a gripping story of suspicion cast on a priest’s behavior that is less about scandal than about fascinatingly nuanced questions of moral certainty. Something rare for this season: a laudable new American play.”

While their nine-year-old son is away for the night on his first sleepover, Adam and Jan have an evening alone together, their first in years. Adam’s attempt to seduce his wife before he leaves on business the next day begins a suspenseful nightlong roller-coaster ride of revelation, rancor, passion and humor that explores a modern-day marriage on the verge of either a breakup or deepening love and understanding.

June

Bachelorette by Leslye Headland

June 14, 15, 21, 22 at 8:00 p.m. and June 16, 23 at 3:00 p.m.

Ten years out of high school, Regan, Gena and Katie convene in the luxurious bridal suite of their old friend Becky, the night before her wedding in New York City. Fueled by jealousy and resentment, the girls embark on a night of debauchery that goes from playfully wasted to devastatingly destructive. Their old fears, unfulfilled desires and deep bonds with each other transform a prenuptial bender into a night they’ll never forget. A wicked black comedy about female friendship and growing up in an age of excess.
