Next on The Carriage House Players’ fall season playbill be I Ought to Be in Pictures, a Neil Simon comedy, opening Friday, November 10, at 8:00 p.m.
The Carriage House Players, formerly Arena Players Repertory Theater, performs year-round in the Carriage House Theater, located in the Education Center at the Vanderbilt Museum, 180 Little Neck Road, Centerport.
This charming, hilarious, and uplifting classic focuses on Herb, a Hollywood scriptwriter currently “at liberty,” who is surprised when his forgotten past reappears in the form of Libby, a teenage daughter who’s trekked from Brooklyn with dreams of movie stardom.
With Steffy, his sometime paramour, at his side Herb decides to take another stab at fatherhood and, hopefully, get it right this time.
Performances are set for Friday, November 17, Saturday, November 11 and 18, at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays, November 12 and 19 at 3:00 p.m
Tickets: $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and children.
