The Carriage House Players will present the final performance of I Ought to Be in Pictures, a Neil Simon comedy, on Sunday, November 19, at 3:00 p.m. in the Carriage House Theater, located in the Education Center at the Vanderbilt Museum, 180 Little Neck Road, Centerport. The Carriage House Players, formerly Arena Players Repertory Theater, performs year-round at the Vanderbilt.

This charming, hilarious, and uplifting classic focuses on Herb, a Hollywood scriptwriter currently “at liberty,” who is surprised when his forgotten past reappears in the form of Libby, a teenage daughter who’s trekked from Brooklyn with dreams of movie stardom.

With Steffy, his sometime paramour at his side, Herb decides to take another stab at fatherhood and, hopefully, get it right this time.

Tickets: $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and children.

To purchase tickets, call 516-557-1207.
