The Carriage House Players fall season continues with the opening of Constellations on Friday, November 9, at 8:00 p.m. Performances, through November 18, will be in the Vanderbilt Museum’s Carriage House Theater, located in the Learning Center at 180 Little Neck Road, Centerport, N.Y.

The young British playwright Nick Payne has created a spellbinding story about a romantic journey that begins with a simple encounter between a man and a woman, and the difference between choice and destiny.

From The New Yorker’s rave review: “… a singular astonishment, at once eloquent and mysterious but which nonetheless articulates within its own idiosyncratic idiom something that touches an audience as real … a wholly satisfying and complete emotional journey…”

Tickets on-line: $20 adults, $15 seniors and children. Tickets also available at the door.

Other performances will be given on November 9, 10, 16, 17, at 8:00 p.m. and on November 11 and 18 at 3:00 p.m.

Next on the playbill: Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol December 7, 8, 14, 15, at 8:00 p.m.; December 9 and 16 at 3:00 p.m.

What happened to Ebenezer Scrooge’s infamous partner, Jacob Marley? Tom Mula’s story is A Christmas Carol told from a different, funny, touching perspective.
