The Carriage House Players’ next performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be Friday, July 6, at 7:00 p.m. The production, which continues through July 29, is the first of two plays in the Vanderbilt’s 30th annual Summer Shakespeare Festival.
The second half of the festival begins August 5 with the drama Hamlet and runs through September 2
The Carriage House Players perform in the beautiful Vanderbilt Mansion Courtyard, enhanced by the graceful backdrop of century-old Spanish-Revival architecture. Theater-goers are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy dinner before the show.
Performances (weather permitting) are given on Wednesdays (except August 3) and Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Sundays at 7:00 p.m. Tickets: $15 online or at the door.
