The great-great granddaughter of William K. Vanderbilt II (1878-1944), Costin created a line of jewelry inspired by an engagement ring she inherited from her great grandmother, Consuelo Vanderbilt Earl (1903-2011). The ring is thought to have once belonged to Consuelo, the Duchess of Marlborough.

“I wanted to pay tribute to the marvelous Vanderbilt jewelry of the past century by recreating pieces that reflect the timeless elegance of the Gilded Age,” she said.

Costin shot the Homage promotional video at Eagle’s Nest, her great-great grandfather’s waterfront estate and mansion in Centerport, New York, home of the Vanderbilt Museum.

The collection is available now for presale at: http://www.hsn.com/search?query=homage
