Carriage House Players Open 30th Annual Shakespeare Fest June 29

The Carriage House Players will open the Vanderbilt’s 30th annual Summer Shakespeare Festival with the comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Friday, June 29, at 7:00 p.m. The play runs through July 29.

The festival continues August 5 through September 2 with the drama Hamlet.

The Carriage House Players perform in the Vanderbilt Mansion Courtyard, enhanced by the graceful backdrop of century-old Spanish-Revival architecture. Theater-goers are encouraged to bring a picnic and enjoy dinner before the show.

Performances (weather permitting) are given on Wednesdays (except August 3) and Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Sundays at 7:00 p.m. Tickets: $15 online or at the door.
