Traditional Spring Event Set for Saturday, April 15, 2017
The Easter Bunny and his friend Li’l Chick are inviting children of all ages to join them for breakfast and fun at the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum on Saturday, April 15, from 9:00 to 12:00. The Museum is located at 180 Little Neck Road, Centerport, N.Y. Children are encouraged to bring their Easter baskets and bonnets.
The Vanderbilt once again will hold the popular, long-standing spring event that often draws multi-generational family groups. The morning offers lots of fun as well as a good opportunity to shoot delightful video or photos for the family album.
Tickets for this event sell out fast, so early registration is strongly encouraged.
The day includes:
- Hot buffet breakfast at 9:00 a.m.
- Egg hunt in the Vanderbilt Rose Garden (weather permitting)
- Special Planetarium show, “One World, One Sky,” starring Elmo and Big Bird, at 10:15 a.m.
Tickets: Adults $30, $25 for members; children $18, $15 for members. Pre-registration is required and seating is limited.
