Opens Friday, November 11, 2016, in Carriage House Theater
The Arena Players Repertory Theater will offer Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol by Tom Mula, opening Friday, November 11, at 8:00 p.m. in the Vanderbilt Carriage House Theater. The theater is located on the grounds of the Vanderbilt Museum, 180 Little Neck Road, Centerport, N.Y.
Jacob Marley, in Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, was the mean business partner of Ebenezer Scrooge.
This is the Christmas Carol story told from the perspective of Marley, who is dead and shackled, condemned to a hellish eternity.
Marley accepts a chance to free himself, but first must redeem Scrooge. Marley’s journey of laughter, terror and redemption is irreverent, funny and moving
