Elizabeth Jean (“Betsy”) Cambria, TreasurerBetsy Cambria, the Board’s treasurer, has served as a trustee for six years. She retired after serving as confidential secretary to the Hon. Michael F. Mullen, justice of the New York State Supreme Court, and works as a legal secretary for the Huntington firm of Pezold, Smith, Hirschmann & Selvaggio. “I live very close to the Vanderbilt,” she said, “and I am keenly aware of its importance to this part of Long Island. I am most proud that the Board shepherded the Planetarium renovations to completion.”

Betsy is a graduate of Dowling College and a resident of Huntington for more than 40 years (and of Centerport for five). For 20 years, she has been a member of the Huntington Choral Society and served on its board for six years. Betsy also volunteers for the Family Service League, is a member of Nassau/Suffolk Grandparents for Autism Awareness, and is past president of the Huntington High School Parent-Teacher-Student Association. She is widowed and has four children and eight grandchildren.
