Begin your holiday season where Hollywood stars and European royalty once dined with members of one of America’s most famous families.
The Holiday Dinner is held annually at the elegant, century-old, Spanish Revival mansion of Rosamond and William Vanderbilt on a hilltop overlooking Northport Bay. Seatings are available at 6 pm and 8 pm on Saturday, December 7.
The grand mansion – listed on the National Register of Historic Places – is decorated for the holidays each year by local designers and garden clubs, which adds charm and magic to this exclusive evening.
Dinner is served in the glass-walled Northport Porch overlooking the harbor lights. Dessert, an assortment of cakes and fresh fruit, will be served in the Lancaster Room.
Menu: Prime Rib; French Onion Chicken; Dijon Encrusted Salmon; Vegetarian Lasagna. All entrees served with Beans Almandine and/or Potatoes au Gratin. Also included: wine, beer, coffee, tea, and Viennese dessert table. Cold table and passed hors d’oeuvres.
Seating is limited and sells out quickly. Tickets: $150, or $135 for members. Tickets sold online only. Guests must choose entrées when they purchase tickets.
