Reichert Planetarium Show Schedule

April 5th - June 16th

The Reichert Planetarium is proud to offer award-winning shows with stunning, immersive visuals projected overhead on our 60-foot dome.

Our daytime planetarium shows are available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – please check the show schedule for each day below. We offer additional evening planetarium shows on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and exciting laser shows on Friday and Saturday nights at 9:00 pm.

The planetarium is closed Monday – Thursday.

Planetarium Schedule Notes: Spring Break

The Planetarium will be OPEN for Spring Break (April 22nd-29th)!

Each day, we will follow the SUNDAY show schedule, with the following change: on Monday, April 22nd, the 1:00pm show will be We Are Guardians instead of Sunstruck.

Daytime Planetarium Shows:

Adults: $17
Students with ID and Seniors: $16
Children 12 and under: $14
Members and Children under 2: free (excludes Library Memberships)

All daytime planetarium show tickets and 4:00pm Laser Taylor Swift tickets include general admission, which allows visitors to access to exhibits in the Vanderbilt Mansion, Marine Museum, and all of our grounds and gardens.

Tours of Mr. Vanderbilt’s living quarters within the mansion are an additional charge. For more information about our tours, please click here.

Humanity has always had a fascination with the stars — from ancient stargazers and astrologers to modern-day astronauts and astronomers. This visually stunning show chronicles the history and development of astronomy, ranging from ancient Mesopotamia through future missions to the planet Mars.

Long Island Skies Poster

This LIVE presentation, developed by the Vanderbilt Planetarium staff, uses the star projector to its fullest capabilities. The program introduces the brilliant night sky that can be seen on Long Island from everyone’s backyard, including seasonal constellations, stars and deep-sky objects.

Laser AC/DC
Fridays April 12th – May 17th at 9:00pm:

Laser AC/DC

AC/DC’s groundbreaking classic hard rock from the 70s, 80s and 90s comes to life in this laser spectacular. Songs include Back in Black, Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck, and more.

Laser Depeche Mode
